Every year in july my best friends and me are celebrating our Summer fete. Susanne, Ursel, Karin and more often Franzi are meeting regularly not only to sew quilts but also to talk, enjoy good dishes, to laugh or sometimes to console somebody if needed. We are really good friend and have experienced a lot together.
Our Summer fete is to enjoy delicious food. Each of us brings something, and since in Bavaria in July we have almost summer weather we are sitting in Susannes garden. This year we had summer salad, tiramisu of raspberry, and flimsy baken tarte flambee (Flammkuchen). The last was freshly made in the wood stove, standing next to our lounge. All was very tasty!
Apart from the food we got used to bring little gifts. So I decided, as we are all sewers, to bring mugrugs with sewing motifs.
The one for Susanne has quilts on the clothesline:

We had a lot of fun with our gifts and since they loved the mugrugs a lot I thought it was a good idea to give you the chance to surprice your friends too.
So I released the 4 embroidery files to our shop.
