Washday

I am so happy that you like my new embroidery files, many thanks for your feedback.

I love the motifs too. That’s why I used them already in many creations.

Only yesterday I finished this wall cover (I had to wait for the crochet border).

I first embroidered 2 of the houses in the collection „Cottage Sampler Quilt Collection“  to the centre of some fabric.

Hang laundry (the pegs are small satin stitches with narrow zigzag stitch).

The flowers are from wool felt, I sewed them on with the knob feet.

Finally I did a crochet border.

With my B 780 I did a comb stitch with loose thread around the edge.

With a crochet needle (1 – 1.5) I crocheted each thread loop with a round of single stitches.

Then, with a needle of 3 I crocheted another round of single stitches. Then I did an arc edge with 6 trebles every 3rd stitch. Done.

I prefer this technique. To sew on a crochet edge is complicated since it never matches the length.

Ready!

My plate is 55 x 40 cm so it is a good table set.

It is good on the table or you hang it on the wall.

Since I already have many of them I want to exchange this plate.

Are you interested? What is your offer I cannot withstand?

Viele liebe Montagsgrüße

  1. Today, I went to the beach front with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said „You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.“
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
